    What This Means for You

    All Consumers and Personal Assistants must be registered with PPL in order to receive CDPAP services.

    Registration

    All Consumers and Personal Assistants must be registered with PPL in order to receive CDPAP services. Registration can be done online via PPL’s system, PPL@Home

    EVV and Payroll

    All PAs must use PPL’s new mobile application Time4Care to accurately log their hours worked.

    PPL has two timekeeping options that are compliant with electronic visit verification (EVV) requirements

    Option 1: Mobile App

    Download the Time4Care mobile application on your smartphone. PPL has two timekeeping options that are compliant with electronic visit verification (EVV) requirements.

    Option 2: Telephony (Call-In System)

    The number the PA calls from to log time must be the same number the consumer has registered with PPL. Use a landline or consumer’s cell phone to call us, through the EVV phone line at 833-278-3959  call and follow the steps below:

    1. Select Option 1 to indicate that you are the caregiver

    2. Enter your eight-digit date of birth

    3. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number

    4. Select your consumer from the automated list

    5. Follow the prompts to clock in or out

    Consumer approval of PA hours worked

    In order for PAs worked hours to be processed, the consumer or DR must approve all hours worked each week; timesheet submission deadline is Saturday at 11:59 p.m. and the consumer approval deadline is Sunday at 12:00 p.m. There are 3 ways for consumers/DRs to view and approve hours worked: Time4Care, PPL@Home or via Telephony

    Logging Missed Time

    There are 3 ways for PAs to log missed time: Time4Care, PPL@Home, or via paper timesheet.
     *These methods are not EVV-Compliant*

    Logging missed time via the Time4Care app

    To log time in Time4Care for hours that you were not able to use the app, i.e. Sabbath, please log into Time4Care and tap add past shift from the dashboard.

    Logging missed time via Telephony

    To log missed time via phone, please dial 833-278-3959 and follow the prompts for logging missed time

    Logging missed time via PPL@Home

    To log missed time via PPL@Home, log in with your username and password and navigate to the timesheet tab

    PAs who are unable to log time via Time4Care or Telephony  may apply for an exception to use paper timesheets using
     PPL’s paper timesheet exception form.

    All Timesheets must be submitted along with a timesheet exception form.

    Completed timesheets must be submitted to PPL via one of the 3 options below:

    There are 3 ways for consumers/DRs to view and approve hours worked: Time4Care, PPL@Home or via Telephony. All time entries, including paper timesheets, are due for submission to PPL on each Saturday at 11:59 p.m. ET. and approved by Sunday 12:00 p.m. ET. Please only submit one timesheet to avoid processing delays. Paper timesheets must be submitted using PPL’s official timesheet for New York CDPAP. Timesheets from other sources or programs will not be accepted.

    No Smartphone, Tablet, or Internet?

    Medicaid members may qualify for a free smartphone through a federal program. Consumers can apply for this benefit at www.lifelinesupport.org.
